After serving as Director of Investment Research in the Trust Division at the National Bank of Detroit, James L. Bashaw founded JLB & Associates, Inc. in 1983. Our company is a Registered Investment Advisory firm under the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. Our firm grows primarily through client referrals instead of utilizing any marketing. This typically results in long-standing client relationships and has enabled us to grow the number of clients we serve from five relationships in 1983 to over two-hundred ninety-seven relationships today.
